Daylight Savings Time Starts

Daylight Savings.jpg

Daylight Saving Time
starts this Sunday, March 12.

We may be losing an hour of sleep this weekend,
but by moving the clocks forward,
we get to enjoy more daylight throughout the warm months.

  • Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, most of Arizona and American Samoa don’t change their clocks.
  • If you live elsewhere in the U.S. don’t forget to “spring forward” your clocks and watches at 2 AM your local time on Sunday.

  • Your smoke alarm batteries need to be changed twice a year. Make it easy to remember and change the batteries in your smoke alarm when you change your clocks!
