Aquatics Center to make big splash!
Editor’s Note: This is the first in a series of articles featuring information about each room at the Creekside Community Center and Creekside Aquatics.
The Creekside Aquatics Center, sponsored by Davis Buick GMC, will provide an eight-lane competition pool for hosting swim meets. Lane swim times and aerobics classes will also be offered.
The Aquatics Center also has a kiddie pool for children ages 10 and under. A slide and play area provides many water activities for children.
The therapy pool will remain between 84° and 90°. Area therapists are excited to give patients an additional place to work out after their expired insurance-based therapy.
The open-air aquatics center will remain at a temperature between 75° and 80°. The open-air structure can have the roof-top windows open after only eight minutes.
The aquatic center has lockers, private showers, restrooms, and changing areas. There is also a family restroom with a changing table for adults with special needs.
Creekside Aquatics can host pool parties with access to the Arvest Bank Party Rooms adjacent to the pool.
After completing the updates, reservations will be made on the Parks and Recreation website.

The grand opening will be on Saturday, October 12. Everyone can tour the facility without a membership, including using the three pools. Regulations concerning maximum occupancy will be applied.
