Wood Motor sponsors E games

Editor’s Note: This is the fifth in a series of articles featuring information about each room at the Creekside Community Center and Creekside Aquatics.

Wood Motor sponsors the EA/PC and Console Rooms at the Creekside Community Center.

The two rooms are joined together, and staff can monitor both rooms. All games are rated “E” for everyone-friendly.

The rooms have Playstations, Xboxes, and 13 Gaming PCs. Tournaments and league play are being scheduled. The students from the after-school program have approved the room and can hardly wait to return.

Austin Smith, Sports Coordinator for Harrison Parks and Rec, said, “We’ve even got the new college football game!”

Parks and Rec understand that not all students are involved in athletics, but they may love gaming. Hopefully, these rooms will provide additional contact with individuals who enjoy e-sports.

Phillip Wood, Dealer Principal, said, “At Wood Motor Company, we believe in giving back to the Harrison community and supporting spaces that bring people together. The Creekside Community Center offers exciting recreational opportunities for all ages, and we are proud to play a part in enhancing the health and well-being of our town."
