Editor’s Note: This is the seventh article in a series featuring information about each room at the Creekside Community Center and Creekside Aquatics.

The Kiwanis Room is off the blue hallway of the Creekside Community Center.

The room is intended for meetings but can be converted as needed with a flexible furniture arrangement. Renting this space costs only $50 an hour, and a Creekside Membership is not required.

Kiwanis Treasurer Dale Gardner said, “We have been sponsoring softball and baseball fields yearly. We sponsor a lot of youth activities at the Sports Complex. So this was an opportunity to expand what we’ve been able to do. President Joan Bell presented the idea to the club. President-Elect Kyle Evatt

said, “Our motto is serving the children of the world and changing the children one child at a time.”

Once the software is completed, a request to reserve the Kiwanis Room can be submitted to Parks and Rec from their website HarrisonParks.com or call 870-741-2346.
