During this extremely cold weather, no one — whether the public, government or anyone with a compassionate heart — wants to see anyone left outside.
We sincerely thank everyone for stepping up to help, whether in small ways or at certain times. A special thank you to The First United Methodist Church for opening their doors 24/7 to provide warmth and shelter.
Our city’s police force will also assist individuals who are stranded or need transportation to the shelter. The fire department and police force often transport patients needing dialysis or chemo treatments. Just call 911, and a firefighter or patrol officer will respond as soon as possible.
Our community shines brightest when we come together to support those in need, and we couldn’t be more proud. Thank you.
